More information coming soon!
This event will happen rain or shine! An update and complete details will be posted the week before the event.

Why the name? The Maguire Peaks are the featured attraction - the long course circles them, the not-so-long course takes a "fly-by" of them. Expect some cherries too. So then I thought of the movie Jerry Maguire, and Cuba Gooding, Jr.'s "Show me the Oscar," I mean, "Show me the money" tirade, hence "Sunol me the money." And the money - well, that's a metaphor - it represents the effort you put out on the course.

You should have plenty of motivation from the pack! This is a mass-start event. There are 25 total checkpoints laid out in the park. And to win, you don't have to get 'em all. In fact, you can skip two checkpoints on either the long (10.0 km) or not-so-long (6.5 km) course options. You may decide on the course which option you feel like pursuing - both courses are the same up until checkpoint #9, and they finish back together starting at checkpoint #16. Special case: if you want to skip checkpoint #1: the first five checkpoints all fit within a control circle on the map - so I've decided you can either skip the first five altogether, or do those five and skip any two later.

The courses will share two aid stations, placed roughly one-third and two-thirds of the ways through each course. Tank up with liquids and solid fuel.

Awards will be dished out to the top 3 men and women on each course.
