I will design a custom event to
suit your group's needs in a park of your choice. I can
also assist you in choosing a suitable park appropriate
for the kind of activity you would like.
A typical event package
includes:
1. Group instruction and training in map navigation
skills.
2. One or more "map treasure hunt" type courses to
provide a fun challenge and enjoyable outing in the park.
Each participant receives a map.
3. Small group or individual coaching.
4. Certificates and recognition for all
participants.

Price quotes are based on an hourly rate for labor and
the costs for materials like maps and park permit
fees.

Individual and Team Coaching
Interested in improving your
map navigation skills? I'll meet you in a local park, and
we can assess your skills on a map course. I can provide
focused instruction and training activities to develop
your abilites and enhance your performance. Rates start
at $25 per hour.

Consulting
Since 1996, I have been
designing courses and directing events. If you are
wanting to incorporate a map navigation activity into
your event such as an Adventure Race, let me put
my experience to work for you.
I can prepare any kind of map
course desired - from the planning stage, to field
checking and testing, then putting out the control
checkpoints before the event, then monitoring the event,
and finally collecting up the checkpoints and processing
results.

Need an accurate, detailed,
high-quality map of an area or park? I can prepare a base
map, do the field checking, then draft an OCAD map file.
You will then own the rights to the map and you can print
as many copies as you like. For additional fees, I can
print a set amount of maps for you, and when needed in
the future, I can update the map to reflect changes in
the landscaping and terrain.
